No. S-16012/02/2021-LW(B)) under Section 5 of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970, constituting a Committee to consider granting exemption under Section 31 of the Act to the Gare Pelma Sector III Coal Mine (4 MTPA, Open Cast), developed in Raigarh district, Chhattisgarh by Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Co. Ltd., from the prohibition on employment of contract labour imposed by Notification No. S.O. 2063 dated 21.06.1988 in respect of works at serial nos. 1 to 3 of the schedule to that notification. The eight-member Committee comprises Shri Surendra Kumar Pandey (Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh) as Chairman, Shri Himanshu Sekhar Pradhan (National Aluminium Company Limited), Shri Jayant S. Deshpande, Shri Mukesh Mathur (North Western Railway Employees Union), Shri Ranjay Kumar, Shri Shiv Kumar Yadav (Koyala Shramik Sabha), the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), Raipur as Member Convener, and Shri Jai Bhagwan of the Ministry of Labour and Employment as Member Coordinator; its headquarters will be at Raipur and it must submit its report within two months. No.S -16012/02/2021 -LW(B) .—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 o f the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970, the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board hereby constitutes a Committee to consider the Grant of exemption to Gare Pelma Sector III Coal Mine of 4 MTPA (Open Cast) developed in Dist. Raigarh of Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Co.Ltd. under section 31 of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 against Notification No. S.O. 2063 dated 21.06.1988 in respect of employment of Contract Labour in the works at serial no. 1 to 3 given in the schedule to the said Notification. 2. The composition of the Committee and its terms of reference will be as under: - 1. The terms of reference of the proposed Committee would be as follows: - “To study whether there is justification for grant exemption to Coal Mining Projects at Gare Pelma Sector III Coal Mine of 4 MTPA (Open Cast) developed in Dist. Raigarh of Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Co.Ltd. in the works specified in the schedule to the notification No. S.O. 2063 dated 21.06.1988 at serial no. 1 to 3 against Notification No. S.O. 2063 dated 21.06.1988 prohibiting of employment of Contract Labour in the works given in the schedule (Sl.
