Reconstitution of Board of Mining Examination under the Metalliferous Mines Regulations, 1961.

In pursuance of sub-regulations (1), (2), (3) and (4) of regulation 11 of the Metalliferous Mines Regulations, 1961, and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment number S.O. 3487(E), dated the 08th October, 2020, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3, Sub-Section (ii), dated the 8th October, 2020, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby constitutes the Board of Mining Examinations (Metal) and appoints the following persons as members of the Board for a period of three years with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette of India, namely:- 1. Chief Inspector of Mines (Director General, Directorate General of Mines Safety) Chairman, - Ex-officio 2. Shri M M Abdullah, Director (Technical), Manganese Ore (India) Limited, Nagpur, Maharashtra. - Member 3. Shri Pankaj Kumar Satija, Managing Director, M/s Tata Steel Mining Limited, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. - Member 4. Shri Yogesh Kumar Sharma, Managing Director, Almora Magnesite Limited, Uttarakhand. - Member 5. Prof. D.P.Mishra, Department of Mining Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, Jharkhand. - Member 6.
