The Ministry of Defence, through Notification S.R.O. 19(E) dated 12th November, 2025, notifies the constitution of several Cantonment Boards. This action is taken in pursuance of sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Cantonments Act, 2006 (41 of 2006), and read with the Government of India's Ministry of Defence Notification S.R.O. 18(E) dated 10th November, 2025, which declared the variation of certain Cantonment Boards. The newly constituted Cantonment Boards, consisting of members indicated under clauses (a), (b), and (c) of sub-section (2) of section 13 of the Act, are: Pachmarhi (effective 30.11.2025) with the Officer Commanding the Station, Chief Executive Officer, and Shri Sanjay Ledwani; Badamibagh (effective 03.12.2025) with the Officer Commanding the Station, Chief Executive Officer, and Shri Imtiyaz Ahmad Rather; Jammu (effective 03.12.2025) with the Officer Commanding the Station, Chief Executive Officer, and Shri Bharat Bhushan; Ramgarh (effective 03.12.2025) with the Officer Commanding the Station, Chief Executive Officer, and a vacant position; and Meerut (effective 13.01.2026) with the Officer Commanding the Station, Chief Executive Officer, and Shri Satish Chandra Sharma.
