By notification S.O. 3977(E) dated 7th September 2023, the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying (Department of Fisheries), in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Coastal Aquaculture Authority (Amendment) Act, 2023 (No. 27 of 2023), appointed the 12th day of September, 2023 as the date on which the provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
