The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, vide Notification F. No. 30/03/2016-Insolvency, issued on 11th February, 2026, announced the appointment of Shri Ashutosh Mishra, Additional Secretary, as an ex-officio member of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India. This appointment is made by the Central Government in accordance with the provisions of clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 189 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (31 of 2016). Shri Mishra will represent the Ministry of Law & Justice on the said Board. The notification was signed by Anita Shah Akella, Joint Secretary.
