EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 468] NEW DELHI, THUR SDAY, AUGUST, 10, 2023/ SHRAVANA 19, 194 5 CG-DL-E-10082023-247996 MINISTRY OF AYUSH NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 9th August, 2023 G.S.R . 597 (E )—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020 (14 of 2020), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments to the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Ayush, number G.S.R. 666 (E ), dated the 22nd September, 2021, published in the Gazette of Ind ia, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub -section (i), dated the 27th September, 2021, namely: - (i) In the said notification, - in paragraph (3), in the table, under the heading “A. Nominees of the State”, after serial number 6 and the entries relat ing thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely: - “7. Jharkhand Dr. Vakil Kumar Singh, Principal, State Ayurvedic Pharmacy College, Sahebganj, Jharkhand; 8. Uttar Pradesh Professor Awadhesh Kumar Singh, Vice Chancellor, Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Ayush University, Gorakhpur”; (ii) In paragraph (4), in the table, under the heading “A. Nominees of the State”, after serial number 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely: - “2. Madhya Pradesh Ayurveda, Unani and Naturop athy Board, Bhopal Dr. Rampratap Singh Rajput, Member”; (iii) After paragraph (7), the following shall be inserted, namely: - “(8). The tenure of the Members of Advisory Council for Indian System of Medicine referred to in paragraph 3 and 4, shall c ontinue as long as they hold the substantive post in the office by the virtue of which they have been nominated as Member of the Advisory Council for Indian System of Medicine or four years, whichever is earlier or until further orders”.
