Specifically, in Form H of the principal rules, Condition 7 is amended to substitute "one hundred eighty days" with "nine months". Additionally, in Annexure-I, item (1) of the principal rules is amended to substitute "second quarter" with "third quarter". The principal rules were originally published vide G.S.R 54(E) dated February 10, 2006, and were last amended vide G.S.R. 114(E) dated February 3, 2026.

Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Special Economic Zones (Second Amendment) Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as the principal rules), in Form H, in Condition 7, for the words "one hundred eighty days", the words "nine months" shall be substituted. 3.
