L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-10062026-273283 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2862] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, JUNE 9, 2026/JYAISTHA 19, 1948 MINISTRY OF TEXTILES ORDER New Delhi, the 9th June, 2026 S.O. 2956(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of section 16 read with section 17 and sub-section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Textiles No. S.O. 948(E) dated 28th February, 2023 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) dated 1st March, 2023, relating to Cotton Bales with immediate effect, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
