NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20th February, 2025
S.O. 1113(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Public Premises (Eviction of
Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 (40 of 1971), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in
the Ministry of Heavy Industries, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii),
vide number S.O. 1553 (E), dated the 4th March, 2022, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such
supersession, the Central Government hereby appoints Township Administrator mentioned in column (1) of the Table
below, being an officer equivalent to the rank of Gazetted officer of the Central Government to be estate officer for the
purposes of the said Act and further directs that the said officer shall exercise the powers conferred and perform the
duties imposed on estate officer by or under the said Act, within the limits of his jurisdiction in respect of public premises
specified in column (2) of the said Table, namely:-
