L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-09052026-272391 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2268] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, MAY 8, 2026/VAISAKHA 18, 1948 MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th May, 2026 S.O. 2359(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 136 of the Code on Social Security, 2020 (36 of 2020), the Central Government hereby authorises the Director General, Medical Commissioner, Insurance Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Regional Director Grade 'A'/Director, Deputy Medical Commissioner, Dean, Director (Medical), Medical Superintendent, Regional Director Grade ‘B’/Joint Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director or Manager Grade-I, Inspector-cum-Facilitator or Social Security Officer or Manager Grade-Il or Superintendent of the Corporation to institute in the name of the Corporation, suits and other legal proceedings necessary in the interest of the Corporation and to defend any such proceedings instituted against the Corporation in all courts or tribunals or any other authority as may be specified including those established under the said Code.
