The Central Government, exercising powers under Section 4 of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 2013, appoints Shri Sivasubramanian Ramann as Chairperson of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). Shri Ramann, previously Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General & Chief Technology Officer, Office of Comptroller & Auditor General of India, is appointed for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption of charge, or until he reaches 65 years of age, or until further orders, whichever is earliest.
