The Ministry of Labour and Employment, via Notification S.O. 2316(E) dated 8th May, 2026, issued from New Delhi, has announced that the Central Government, exercising powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 83 of the Industrial Relations Code, 2020 (35 of 2020), hereby sets up a fund. This newly established fund is designated as the 'worker re-skilling fund' and is intended to serve the purposes of the aforementioned Code. The notification, bearing File No. S-11025/08/2026-IR(PL), was signed by Deepika Kachhal, Joint Secretary.
