The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 418 and section 469 read with section 466 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), issued Notification G.S.R. 293(E) on 6th May, 2025. These rules, called the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (Recruitment, Salary and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Officers and other Employees) Amendment Rules, 2025, amend the principal rules, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (Recruitment, Salary and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Officers and other Employees) Rules, 2020 (published vide G.S.R. 42(E), dated 21st January, 2020). The amendments come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. Specifically, in Schedule-I of the 2020 Rules, against serial number 18 relating to the post of Stenographer Grade-III, the following changes are made: the post name is substituted with "Stenographer Grade-II"; the age limit under column (6) is changed from "Between 18 and 25 years of age" to "Between 18 and 27 years of age"; Note 1 under column (6) regarding relaxation for Government Servants is substituted to allow relaxation upto forty years; Note 2 under column (6) regarding the crucial date for determining age limit is substituted to state it shall be as advertised by the Staff Selection Commission; and the transcription time under column (7) is changed from "40 minutes on computer" to "50 minutes on computer". (1) These rules may be called the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (Recruitment, Salary and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Officers and other Employees) Amendment Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (Recruitment, Salary and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Officers and other Employees) Rules, 2020, in Schedule-I, against serial number 18 relating to the post of Stenographer Grade-III,- (a) under column (1), for the entries "Stenographer Grade-III", the entries "Stenographer Grade-II" shall be substituted; (b) under column (6), for the words and figures "Between 18 and 25 years of age", the words and figures "Between 18 and 27 years of age" shall be substituted; (c) under column (6), for Note 1, the following shall be substituted, namely:- "Note 1: Relaxable for Government Servants upto forty years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government." ; (d) under column (6), for Note 2, the following shall be substituted, namely :- "Note 2: The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be as advertised by the Staff Selection Commission."; (e) under column (7), for the words and figures "Transcription : 40 minutes on computer", the words and figures "Transcription : 50 minutes on computer" shall be substituted.
