Subject: Amendment in Import Policy condition no. 1(III) under Chapter 87 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule -I
(Import Policy). - reg.
S.O. 669(E).-In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 and Section 5 of Foreign Trade (Development &
Regulation) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, as amended from time to
time, the Central Government hereby revises the Policy Condition no.1 (III) under Chapter 87 of the ITC (HS) 2022,
Schedule-1 (import Policy) with immediate effect as under:-

| (III) Cars manufactured prior to 1st January, 1950 are free | (111) Cars classified as 'Vintage motor vehicles' under |

Effect of the Notification: Classification of Vintage Motor Vehicles has been revised to align it with the Central Motor
Vehicles Rules, 1989 as amended.
This is issued with the approval of Minister of Commerce & Industry.
