NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th January, 2026
G.S.R. 09(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clauses (e) and (f) of sub-
section (2) of section 39 of the Boilers Act, 2025 (12 of 2025), the Central Government hereby makes the following
rules, to amend the Boiler Attendants' Rules, 2025, namely: -
1. Short title and commencement. โ (1) These rules may be called the Boiler Attendants' (Amendment) Rules,
2026.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Boiler Attendants' Rules, 2025, in Form C, for the brackets, words and figures "(not exceeding 150 square
meters in aggregate of total heating surface), provided he is assisted the number of firemanโ, the following brackets,
words and figures shall be substituted, namely: -
"(not exceeding 200 square meters in aggregate of total heating surface), provided that such boilers shall be situated
within a radius of thirty meters in the same premises and belong to one owner and further provided that he is assisted
by the number of fireman"
