L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-07082024-256137 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2961] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, AUGUST 2, 2024/SHRAVANA 11, 1946 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II-SEC. 3(ii)] MINISTRY OF CULTURE (Archaeological Survey of India) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 2nd August, 2024 S.O. 3103(E).— Whereas, the Central Government is of the opinion that the archaeological site and remains as specified in the site plan and schedule annexed hereto is an archaeological site and remains of national importance; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 (24 of 1958), and in supersession of the notification of the Ministry of Culture (Archaeological Survey of India) S.O. 3374(E) dated the 26th July 2023, published in Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 27th July 2023, the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to declare the said archaeological site and remains to be of national importance; Any objection or suggestions, to the declaration of the said archaeological site and remains to be of national importance, may be made within a period of two months from the date of issue of this notification, by any interested person in the said archaeological site and remains; to the Director General, Archaeological Survey of India, 24 Tilak Marg, New Delhi-110001 ([email protected] ); The objections or suggestions, if any, received from any person with respect to the said draft notification within the period so specified shall be taken into consideration by the Central Government.
