In pursuance of clause (d) of rule 2 of the Sustainable Harnessing of Fisheries in the Exclusive Economic Zone Rules, 2025, the Central Government hereby authorizes specific officers to perform the functions as an Authorized Officer under the said rules. The authorized officers include any officer of the rank of Chief Petty Officer or equivalent and above of the Indian Navy, and any subordinate officer of the rank of Adhikari and above of the Indian Coast Guard.
