F.No. O.O.No. 380/RPCAU (VC), Pusa.— Consequent upon the recommendation of the Board of
Management in its 22nd meeting held on 07.08.2024, followed by submission of the proposal for the “Assent” of the
Hon'ble Visitor on the proposal of enhancement in retirement age of the Registrar & Comptroller of the University,
the Assent of the Hon'ble Visitor was communicated vide letter No. CA-05/7/2025-CAU and ASRB dated 25th July,
2025 and accordingly the necessary amendment in clause 8(5) & 9(5) of the Statute is presented below:

The amendment in the Statute has been given effect in light of provision of the Act under section 27(3) and
27 (4) of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University. This amendment shall take effect from the date of issue
of this order followed by publication in official Gazette. Consequently, the provision related to retirement age of the
Registrar and Comptroller shall stand amended in the ordinance No.81/309/RPCAU (VC) dated 13.09.2021 bearing
the notification of the Service and Recruitment Rule (Non-teaching employee)-2017, vide No.309/DRPCAU (VC),
Pusa dated 31.07.2021. As per requirement of the Act Under Section 46 (1), the same shall be published in the official
gazette and consequently the aforesaid provision of earlier RR (Recruitment Rule) adopted by the BOM in its
2nd meeting held on 14.07.2017 shall be considered as amended.
