NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th July, 2023
G.S.R. 482(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy
Act, 1993 (51 of 1993), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Debts
Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Allahabad and Debts Recovery Tribunals at Allahabad, Ranchi, Jabalpur, Patna,
Lucknow and Dehradun Recruitment Rules, 2018, namely: —
1. Short title and commencement. —(1) These rules may be called the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal,
Allahabad and Debts Recovery Tribunals at Allahabad, Ranchi, Jabalpur, Patna, Lucknow and Dehradun Recruitment
(Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Deb ts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Allahabad and Debts Recovery Tribunals at Allahabad, Ranchi,
Jabalpur, Patna, Lucknow and Dehradun Recruitment Rules, 2018, in the Second Schedule, against serial number 2 in
column (1), relating to the post of ‘Assistant Re gistrar’, in column (11), under the heading ‘Promotion’ —
(i) in sub -clauses (i) and (ii), for the words “seven years” at both places where they occur, the
words “nine years” shall be substituted;
(ii) after sub -clauses (i) and (ii), the following provis o shall be inserted, namely: —
“Provided that for existing incumbents holding the feeder posts on regular basis immediately
before the commencement of the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Allahabad and Debts
Recovery Tribunals at Allahabad, Ranchi, Jabalp ur, Patna, Lucknow and Dehradun Recruitment
(Amendment) Rules, 2023, the existing eligibility criteria, i.e., seven years shall be applicable.”.

Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Chennai and Debts Recovery Tribunals at Ernakulam, Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore
and Bangalore Recruitment Rules, 2018, namely: —
1. Short tit le and commencement. —(1) These rules may be called the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Chennai
and Debts Recovery Tribunals at Ernakulam, Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore and Bangalore Recruitment
(Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into for ce on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Chennai and Debts Recovery Tribunals at Ernakulam, Chennai,

Debts Recovery Tribunals at Chandigarh, Delhi a nd Jaipur Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Delhi and Debts Recovery Tribunals at Chandigarh, Delhi and Jaipur
Recruitment Rules, 2018, in the Second Schedule, against serial number 2 in column (1), relating to the post of

1. Short title and commencement. —(1) These rules may be called the Debts Recovery Appel late Tribunal, Kolkata
and Debts Recovery Tribunals at Hyderabad, Guwahati, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, Siliguri and Cuttack Recruitment
(Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

1. Short title and commencement. —(1) These rules may be called the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Mumbai
and Debts Recovery Tribunals at Aurangabad, Mumbai, A hmedabad, Pune and Nagpur Recruitment (Amendment)
Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
