Short title and commencement. —(1) These rules may be called the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Allahabad and Debts Recovery Tribunals at Allahabad, Ranchi, Jabalpur, Patna, Lucknow and Dehradun Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Deb ts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Allahabad and Debts Recovery Tribunals at Allahabad, Ranchi, Jabalpur, Patna, Lucknow and Dehradun Recruitment Rules, 2018, in the Second Schedule, against serial number 2 in column (1), relating to the post of ‘Assistant Re gistrar’, in column (11), under the heading ‘Promotion’ — (i) in sub -clauses (i) and (ii), for the words “seven years” at both places where they occur, the words “nine years” shall be substituted; (ii) after sub -clauses (i) and (ii), the following provis o shall be inserted, namely: — “Provided that for existing incumbents holding the feeder posts on regular basis immediately before the commencement of the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Allahabad and Debts Recovery Tribunals at Allahabad, Ranchi, Jabalp ur, Patna, Lucknow and Dehradun Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023, the existing eligibility criteria, i.e., seven years shall be applicable.”.
