Phoenix IT City Private Limited ha d proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at Sy. No, 53/ Paiki/Part, G achibowli Village, Serilingampally, Mandai, Ranga Reddy District, in the State of Telangana; AND, WHEREAS , the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, notified an area of 1.78 hectares and an addition area of 0.80 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Numbers S.O. 2006 (E) dated 19th June, 2017 and S.O. 3113 (E) dated 15th Septe mber, 2017, respectively; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Phoenix IT City Private Limited has now proposed to de -notify the entire area of 2.58 hectares of the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Telangana has given No Object ion Certificate to the proposal vide letter No. 4733/ITE&C/Prom/2017dated 3rd June, 2023. After de -notification, the land parcel will conform to Land Use Guidelines/master plans of the State Government; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Visakhap atnam Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal for de -notification of entire area of 2.58 hectares of the Special Economic Zone; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by first proviso to rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, the Central Government hereby rescinds the above notification except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
