NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 1st May, 2025
S.O. 2008(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Public Premises (Eviction
of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 (40 of 1971), the Central Government hereby appoints Township
Administrators, Heavy Pressure and Vessels Plant (HPVP), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL),
Visakhapatnam, being officers equivalent to the rank of the Gazetted Officers of the Government of India, to
be estate officer for the purposes of the said Act, who shall exercise the powers conferred and perform the
duties imposed on the estate officer by or under the said Act, within the local limits of jurisdiction in respect
of public premises specified in the Table mentioned below:
