Notification S.R.O. 07(E) dated 5th March 2024, issued by the Ministry of Defence under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Cantonments Act, 2006 (41 of 2006), and following consultation with the State Government of Uttar Pradesh and Cantonment Board, Mathura, declares the Central Government's intention to exclude twenty specified areas/survey numbers of Cantonment Mathura (including a junior high school, staff quarters, an overhead tank, an underground drainage pipeline, a pump house and cantonment fund roadways) from the cantonment and merge them with the State local body; objections from any inhabitant of the cantonment may be submitted within eight weeks of publication to the Central Government through the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Command, Jaipur-302006, Rajasthan, and details of the areas may be inspected at the Cantonment Board office; issued under F.
