L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-05012024-251133 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 44] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 3, 2024/PAUSHA 13, 1945 MINISTRY OF CULTURE (NATIONAL MONUMENTS AUTHORITY) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 29th December, 2023 S.O. 49(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to clause (db) of section 2 the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 (24 of 1958), the Central Government makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Culture (Archaeological Survey of India) S.O. 728 (E) dated 25th February, 2014 published in the Gazette of India on 10th March, 2014, hereby specifies the officer mentioned in column (2) of the Table given below, as the competent authority for the purposes of Sections 20C and 20D of the said Act, within the jurisdiction specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, 1. In the said notification, after S. No. 18, the following S.
