NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 4th September, 2025
S.R.O. 17(E)— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Works of Defence Act, 1903
(7 of 1903), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Defence
number S.R.O. 72, dated the 25th July, 2008, published in Gazette of India, Part II, section 4, dated the
30th August, 2008, except as respects, things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central
Government hereby declares that it is necessary to continue to impose restrictions already in place, as
specified in clause (c) of section 7 of the said Act upon the use and enjoyment of the land described in the
Schedule herein, being land lying in the vicinity of the Defence Research Development Laboratory, Bothli
Nagpur in the State of Maharashtra, in order that the said land may be kept free from buildings and other
obstructions.
2. The said restrictions shall come into force with effect from the date of publication of this notification
in the Official Gazette.
3. A sketch plan of the said land may be inspected in the office of the Collector, Nagpur, Maharashtra.
SCHEDULE
All the land comprised in the area lying within the distance of one hundred meters from the crest of
the outer parapet of the boundary wall of the Defence Research Development Laboratory, Bothli Nagpur, in
the State of Maharashtra.
