In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 4 of the Rubber Act, 1947 (24 of 1947) read with rules 3 and 4 of the Rubber Rules, 1955, the Central Government hereby appoints the following persons as members of the Rubber Board for a period of three years from the date of publication of this notification and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce number S.O. 2980(E), dated the 30th June, 2022, namely:- In the said notification, for serial numbers 12,13 and 14 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and the entries shall respectively be substituted, namely:- "12. | Shri AntoAntony, | Member; | Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha | (He shall hold office till he ceases to be a Member of Lok Sabha) 13. | Shri Captain Brijesh Chowta, | Member; | Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha | (He shall hold office till he ceases to be a Member of Lok Sabha) 14. | Shri Rajib Bhattacharjee, | Member; | Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha | (He shall hold office till he ceases to be a Member of Rajya Sabha)”.
