In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the National Commission for Homoeopathy Act, 2020 (15 of 2020), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments to the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Ayush, number G.S.R. 667 (E), dated the 22nd September, 2021, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part -II, Section-3, sub-section (i), dated the 27th September, 2021, namely: - (i) In the said notification,- in paragraph (3), in the table, under the heading “A. Nominees of the State", after serial number 3 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:- +----+-----------+----------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | 4. | Gujarat | Dr. Girish Patel, Dean, Faculty of Homoeopathy, Maharaja | | | | Krishnakumarsinhji, Bhavnagar University, Bhavnagar, | | | | Gujarat;" | +----+-----------+----------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ (ii) after paragraph (7), the following shall be inserted, namely: - "(8). The tenure of the Members of Advisory Council for Homoeopathy referred to in paragraph 3 and 4, shall continue as long as they hold the substantive post in the office by virtue of which they have been nominated as Member of the Advisory Council for Homoeopathy or four years, or until further orders whichever is earlier".
