L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-03122024-259121 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4798] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2024 MINISTRY OF ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th November, 2024 S.O. 5190(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 79A of the information Technology Act 2000 (21 of 2000) the Central Government hereby notifies Cyber Forensics Laboratory, Navy Cyber Group, Naval Hqs, Ministry of Defence (Navy), 4th Floor Chanakya Bhawan, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi as Examiner of Electronic Evidence within India, with the following scope, namely: - (a) Computer (Media) Forensics excluding Floppy Disk Drive; (b) Mobile Devices Forensics. With aforesaid notification, earlier published gazette notification No. S.O. 4167(E) dated 29th August, 2022, Extraordinary, Part II- Section 3 - Sub-section (ii), is rescinded by central Government.
