L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-02112023-249848 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 4 PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 24] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2023/KARTIKA 11, 1945 MINISTRY OF DEFENCE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 2nd November, 2023 S.R.O. 24(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023 (18 of 2023), the Central Government hereby appoints that the amendments to the Cantonments Act, 2006 (41 of 2006) mentioned in column (5) of Schedule to the said Act, against serial number 37 mentioned in column (1) of said Schedule, shall come into force from the date of publication of this notification.
