New Delhi, the 2nd September, 2025
S.O. 4007(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 (27 of 1996) read with rules 10, 11 and 17 of the Building and Other Construction Workers' (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Central Rules, 1998, the Central Government hereby reconstitutes the Central Building and Other Construction Workers' Advisory Committee consisting of the following persons for a period of three years with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, namely: –

2. The Director/Dy. Secretary, Office of the Director General (Labour Welfare), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India shall be the Secretary to the Central Building and Other Construction Workers' Advisory Committee and shall perform the functions as prescribed under sub-rule (2) of rule 17 of the Building and Other Construction Workers' (Regulation of Employment and Condition of Service) Central Rules, 1998.
