RESOLUTION
New Delhi, the 30th April, 2025
No. E-11015/1/2018-Hindi: In pursuance of O.M. II/20015/45/87-O.L.(A-2) dated 15.03.1988 of M/o Home Affairs, Official Language Department and in supersession of Resolution No. E-11015/1/2018-Hindi dated 10.01.2023 of Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Government of India has decided to constitute the Hindi Salahakar Samiti of Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, M/o Commerce & Industry. Composition, functions and duration of the Committee will be as under:-

FUNCTIONS OF THE COMMITTEE
The main function of the Samiti is to render advice for implementation of the provisions relating to Official Language in the Constitution, principles prescribed in Official Language Act and Rules and the policy decisions and directions of the Kendriya Hindi Samiti and Department of Official Language with regard to use of Hindi in official work.
TENURE OF THE COMMITTEE
The term of the Samiti will be three years from the date of its reconstitution provided that :-
(a) a member who is a member of Parliament shall cease to be the member of the Samiti as soon as he ceases to be a Member of Parliament;
(b) ex-officio members of the Samiti shall continue as members as long as they hold office by virtue of which they are members of the Samiti;
(c) if a vacancy arises on the Samiti due to resignation, death etc. of a member, the member appointed in that capacity shall hold office for the residual term of three years.
T. A. AND OTHER ALLOWANCES
The non-official members will be paid travelling allowance by shortest route from their residence to the place of meeting as per their entitlement. They will also be paid daily allowance on rates fixed by the Government of India from time to time.
HEADQUARTERS OF THE SAMITI
The Headquarters of the Samiti shall be in New Delhi.
ORDER
Ordered that a copy of this Resolution be communicated to President's Secretariat, Prime Minister Office, Cabinet Secretariat, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Lok Sabha Secretariat, Rajya Sabha Secretariat, NITI Aayog, Comptroller and Auditor General of India, all Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and All State Governments, Union Territory Administrations.
Ordered also that the Resolution be published in the Gazette of India for general information.
