L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY 1 2 3 No. 3275] NEW DELHI , MON DAY, JULY 31, 2023/ SHRAVANA 9, 1945 CG-DL-E-01082023-247748 MINISTRY OF FISHERIES, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND DAIRYING (Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 2 8th July, 2023 S.O. 3425 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred under sub -section (2) of section 15 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984), read with sub -rule (5) of rule 10 of the Veterinary Council of India (Procedure for recognition and de -recognition of Veterinary Colleges and Veterinary Qualification s) Rules, 2017, the Central Government, after consulting the Veterinary Council of India, hereby makes the following further amendment in the First Schedule to the said Act, namely: –– In the said Act, in the First Schedule, under sub -heading Degre es, for serial number 3 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely: - University or Veterinary Institution Recognised Veterinary Qualification Abbreviation for Registration 1 2 3 “3. Assam A gricultural University in respect of College of: - (i) Veterinary Science, Guwahati (ii) Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science, Assam. Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry B.V.Sc. & A.H. B.V.Sc. & A.H.
