NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th April, 2025
S.R.O. 6(E)- In exercise of powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President
hereby make the following rules further to amend the Canteen Stores Department, Ministry of Defence (Group 'A'
posts) Recruitment Rules, 1988, namely: -
1.
(1) These rules may be called the Canteen Stores Department, Ministry of Defence (Group 'A' posts)
Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

In the Canteen Stores Department, Ministry of Defence (Group 'A' posts) Recruitment Rules, 1988 (hereinafter
referred to as the principal rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:
"2. Number of posts, classification, and level in pay matrix. - The number of said posts, their classification
and level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the aforesaid Schedule.

In the Schedule to the principal rules, relating to the posts of, -
(A) Deputy General Manager (Personnel & Administration), Deputy General Manager (Base), Deputy
General Manager (Stores), Deputy General Manager (Liquor Imports & Stores) and Regional Manager,-
(i) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column
heading and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

(ii) in column (12),-
(i)
for words, brackets and figures "(Rs 3000-4500)", the words, figures and brackets
"level 11 (Rs 67700-208700) in the pay matrix” shall be substituted;
(ii) for the words and figures "the scale of Rs 3000-4500”, the words, figures and brackets
"level 11 (Rs 67700-208700) in the pay matrix” shall be substituted;
(B) Deputy General Manager (Electronic Data Processing),-
(i) in column (4), for the column heading and entries relating thereto, the following column heading
and entries shall be substituted, namely: -

in column (12), for the words and figures "the scale of Rs 3000-4500", the words, figures and

Note.- The principal rules were published, vide notification number S.R.O. 99 dated the 20th April, 1988 in the Gazette
of India, Part II, Section 4 and subsequently amended, vide S.R.O. 360 dated the 20th December, 1989.
