Exercising powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 17 of the said Act, the Central Government directs that the powers exercisable by it under sections 6, 7, 8(b), (c) and (d), 10 and 13 of the Act, read with rule 8 of the Requisitioning and Acquisition of Immovable Property Rules, 1953, shall also be exercisable by the Administrative Secretary, Revenue Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir. This delegation of power is applicable in respect of any property situated within the jurisdiction of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
