In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Jute Packaging Materials (Compulsory Use in Packing Commodities) Act, 1987 (10 of 1987), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Textiles, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, sub-Section (ii) vide number S.O. 1830(E), dated the 22nd April, 2025, namely:- In the said Order, in the Preamble, in paragraph 4, for the words, figures and letters "up to the 30th June, 2025", the words, figures and letters "up to the 31st March, 2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier" shall be substituted.
