Railway) NOTIFICATION Bilaspur, the 26th April, 2024 Notification under section 20 (E) of Railways Act, 1989 S.O. 3620(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board)Notification No. S.O. 70E dated 30.12.2024 ,published in the Gazette of India Ordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub section (ii), (hereinafter referred to as said notification) under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (herein after referred to as said act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for execution of Special Railway Project, namely Jharsuguda - Bilaspur 4th line (206 Km) in Jharsuguda district of Odisha. And whereas the substance of the 20A notification under sub-section (1), under sub section (4) of section: 20A of the said Act was published in the daily newspapers Jankarm and Naveen Kadam on dtd: on 17.01.2024 respectively. Whereas objections received in the stipulated period from the land losers were resolved by the Competent Authority and whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted his report to the Central Government. Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of the Section 20 (E) of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose, and further in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all Encumbrances.
