L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-CG-E-13052026-272466 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2301] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, MAY 11, 2026/VAISAKHA 21, 1948 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South East Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Nagpur, the 8th May, 2026 Notification under Section 20(A) of the Railway Act, 1989 S.O. 2393(E).—In exercise of power conferred by sub-Section(1) of Section 20(A) of Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, brief description of which is given in the schedule annexed hereto, is required for execution of Special Railway Project namely “Construction of a Limited Height Subway (Road under bridge) in lieu of manned Level Crossing No. 522, Km. 1031/9–11, located in Village Belati Khurd, Tehsil- Tiroda, District Gondia on Tirora- Mundikota Section. The Central Government further declares that the acquisition of the said land is necessary for the above purpose. Any person interested in the land may, within a period thirty days (30 days) from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, file objections to the acquisition under Section 20(D), sub-section (1) of the Railway Act, 1989, regarding the acquisition and use of the said land. Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority namely, the Sub-Divisional Officer and Land Acquisition Officer, Tiroda, District Gondia, Maharashtra in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the Competent Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or through a legal practitioner and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further inquiry, if any, as the Competent Authority think necessary by order either allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the Competent Authority under sub-section(2) of section 20(D) of the said Act shall be final. The map and other details of the land included in this notification are available and can be inspected by interested person at the foresaid office of the Competent Authority.
