ECR -HQo/CONS(CORS)/357/2020 ] MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (Railway Board) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 18th December, 2023 Notice under Secti on 20E of the Railway Act, 1989 S.O. 5474(E). —Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (East Central Railway), number S.O 869(E), dated the 23 February, 2023 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-ii, section 3, Sub -section (2), dated the 23 February, 2023 and issued under sub -section (1) of section 20A of the Railw ays Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (here in after referred as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of t he Special Railway Project namely "Sonenagar Byepass between Chiraila Pouthu and Bagahabishunpur station (10 KM) Rail Project" in Aurangabad District in the State of Bihar. And whereas, the substance of the said notification has been published in the dail y local newspapers, namely, Times of India (Patna Edition) of dated 08 April, 2023 and Hindustan (Gaya Edition) of dated 08 April, 2023 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act, And whereas, objections were received; Competent Authority has heard the objections and orders have been passed in terms o f section 20 D of the said act; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority h as submitted its re port to the Central Government. Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that t he land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall be acqu ired for the aforesaid purpose. And further, in the pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Govt. hereby declares that on publication of the notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Governm ent free from all encumbrances.
