NOTIFICATION
Visakhapatnam, the 27th August, 2026
S.O. 4772(E). - Whereas, by the notification by Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways
(Railway Board), number S.O.No.772 (E). Dated.02.02.2026 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-
II Section 3 Sub section (ii), No. 734, dated. 13.02.2026 (herein after referred to as said notification) and issued
under sub section (1) of section 20(A) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 Of 1989), the Central Government declares its
intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the Construction of Road
Over Bridge In lieu of Level Crossing (LC) No.433 at Gollaprolu Station Yard at Railway KM 646/02-04 in
Gollaprolu Village of Gollaprolu Mandal in Kakinada District, in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
And whereas an extract of this notification was published in the daily newspapers i.e., the Times of India and Sakshi
Daily Newspaper on 22.02.2026 with the approval of Chief Engineer, Constructions, South Central Railway,
Secunderabad, under sub-section (1): Section 20(A) of this Act.
And whereas, Competent Authority (LA) & Revenue Divisional Officer, Kakinada have conducted Grama Sabha and
received objections and disposed off the same under Section 20 D (2) of the said Act.
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of 20(E) of this Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its report to
the Central Government.
Now therefore, on receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-
section (1) of Section 20(E) of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands mentioned in the
Schedule have been annexed to be obtained here for the purpose mentioned above;
Further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20(E) of this Act, the Central Government, hereby declares on
publication of notification in the Official Gazette, that the land specified in the schedule annexed here to shall vest
absolutely in the Central Government is from all encumbrances.
SCHEDULE
Description of lands in Acquisition: Construction of Road Over Bridge In lieu of Level Crossing (LC) No.433 at
Gollaprolu Station yard at Railway KM 646/02-04 in Gollaprolu Village of Gollaprolu Mandal in the state of Andhra
Pradesh Jurisdiction for passenger and freight facility.
