No. 1/7/2016/HP-I/Estt./506 to 513.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Delhi Police Act, 1978 (34 of 1978) read with the clause (s) of section 2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) and the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, notification No. U-11011/2/74-UTL (i) dated the 20th March, 1974, and in supersession of notifications of this Government issued vide notification number F. No. 1/07/2016/HP-1/Estt./4903 to 4910 dated the 24th September, 2018 and F. No. 1/07/2016/HP-1/Estt./2118 to 2125 dated the 11th June, 2019 except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Lieutenant Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to direct and declare:- (a) That the area of new Metro Stations namely Nangli, Najafgarh and Dhansa Bus Stand shall be included in the jurisdiction of Police Station Janakpuri Metro from the date of publication of this notification, as defined in the schedule given below; (b) That the area of new Metro Grey Line corridor at Dwarka Metro Station shall be included in the area of Dwarka Metro Station under the jurisdiction of Police Station Janakpuri Metro, from the date of publication of this notification, as defined in the schedule attached; (c) That Metro Station Nangloi shall be deleted from the jurisdiction of Metro Police Station Janakpuri after the publication of this notification; (d) That the area of Vinod Nagar Depot shall be included in the jurisdiction of Police Station Yamuna Depot Metro, from the date of publication of this notification, as defined in the schedule attached; (e) That the name of Metro Station namely Pragati Maidan shall be changed from Pragati Maidan to Supreme Court from the date of publication of this notification, as defined in the in the schedule given below; (f) That the name of Metro Police Station namely Pragati Maidan Metro shall be changed from Pragati Maidan Metro to Supreme Court Metro from the date of publication of this notification, as defined in the schedule given below; The boundaries/revised boundaries/jurisdictions of all the Metro Police Stations shall cover the local area henceforth as specified in the attached Schedule:- SCHEDULE Jurisdiction of 16 Metro Police Stations 1.
