In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), Chapter IV-A, the Central Government has declared its intention to acquire land for a public purpose. This land is required for a "Special Railway Project" comprising the 3rd line (9.32 Km.) and 4th line (12.53 Km.) between Sini and Kandra, totaling 21.85 Km., located in the Seraikela-Kharsawan district of Jharkhand state. Any person interested in the said land may object within thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette, as per sub-section (1) of section 20D of the Railways Act. Objections must be submitted in writing to the Competent Authority, identified as the Land Acquisition Officer, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Jharkhand, at the office of the Collector and District Magistrate, Seraikela, PIN-833219. The Competent Authority will provide an opportunity for a hearing and make a final order on the objections under sub-section (2) of section 20D. The notification includes a schedule detailing private land parcels to be acquired across eight Mouzas in Seraikela-Kharsawan district: Haribhanja (0.0531 Hectare), Bhaduagora (0.0279 Hectare), Bhadrodih (0.0119 Hectare), Madhupur (0.0123 Hectare), Bhalupahari Alia Mahulpani (0.0118 Hectare), Mohitpur (0.1981 Hectare), Subarnpur (0.116 Hectare), and Padampur (0.0135 Hectare). Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of the notification in the official Gazette, object, under sub-section (1) of the section 20D of the said Act to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose. Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority, viz. Land Acquistion Officer, Seraikela- Kharsawan, Jharkhand in his office located at the office of the Collector and District Magistrate, Seraikela, PIN- 833219, Jharkhand in writing, and shall set out the grounds there of and Competent Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections as per Sub-Section (2) of section 20D of the said Act. Any order made by the Land Acquistion Officer, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Jharkhand -Cum- Competent Authority under Sub Section (2) of section 20D of the said Act shall be final. The land plans and the other details of the land covered under notification are available and can be inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the Competent Authority.
