In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section 1(f) of Section 3 of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021 and in supersession of the Notifications of the Government of India, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (PHRD Division) No. G.S.R. 220(E) dated 24th March, 2023, the Central Government hereby appoints the following persons on the Board of Visakhapatnam Port Authority as Members representing the interests of the employees of the Major Port Authority:- +--------+--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | SI. The Appointment of Members of the Board shall be subject to the provisions of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021. The appointment is valid till the date of validity of check-off, or until the attainment of age of superannuation of the Members, or till further orders, whichever is earliest.
