No 2959 dated 25-07-2024 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-2nd, Section 3rd Sub Section (ii) on dated 25-07-2024 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) under Railway Act 1989(24 of 1989) and sub-section (i) of section 20A of the Railways Amendment Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for execution, maintenance and operation of the Special Railway Project between Anand Nagar To Ghughali via Mahrajganj Section, New Railway Line Project, District Maharajganj of the state of Uttar Pradesh, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. And, whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in the daily Hindi newspapers Dainik Jagran Gorakhpur Dated 04-08-2024 and Daily English newspaper Times of India, Lucknow Dated 04-08-2024 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act, and in village Agaya 4, Rampur 1, Siswababu 5, Sawna 2, Baspar Baijoli 2, Peepardeora 3, Tarkulwa 8 & Mahuva 53 Total 78 objections received in the office of Competent Authority by Land Owners/Intrested persons of above 8 villages. And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government. Now, therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority, namely, Special Land Acquisition officer,(S.S) Mahrajganj, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the Schedule annexed here to shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose.
