L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-UP-E-19052026-272671 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2298] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, MAY 11, 2026/VAISAKHA 21, 1948 (1) 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II-SEC. 3(ii)] 3 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (North Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Prayagraj, the 6th April, 2026 S.O. 2389(E).— Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (North Central Railway), number 4451 S.O. 4579(E) Dated 19-09-2025 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii), dated the 08-10-2025 and issued under the sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) and the Railways (Amendment) ACT, 2008 (No. 11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as ths said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for execution, maintenance management and operation of a Special Railway Project namely, Construction of 02 lane Road Over Bridge in place of LC No.538 on 1418/08-10 k.m. of Agra – Palwal section in District Mathura in the state of Uttar Pradesh. And whereas, the substance of the said notification has been published in the daily local newspapers namely, “AMAR UJALA” (Hindi), dated the 17-10-2025 and “THE TIMES OF INDIA” (English), dated the 17-10-2025 under the sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, Akbarpur village no objections were received by the Competent Authority. Any whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government. Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose. And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
