NOTIFICATION
Prayagraj, the 30th August, 2024
S.O. 3899 (E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the ministry of Railways (North
Central Railway, Gati Shakti Unit), Notification Number, S.O. 2172 (E), dated the 3rdJun 2024 published in Gazette of
India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub -section (ii), Notification Number 2073, dated the 4Jun 2024 (hereinafter
referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub -section (I) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act,
2008 (11th of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire
the Land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maint enance,
management and operation of Special Railway Project namely “Construction of ROB in lieu of LC -75-A at
Km. 1253/25 -27 in Tundla -Ghaziabad Section ” in the District of Agra in the State of Uttar Pradesh;
And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely, “Amar Ujala
& Times of India” dated 13 Jun , 2024 under sub -section (4) of section 20A of the said Act;
And whereas, Three nos. of objection was received and the same has been considered by the Competent
authority accordingly order has been passed;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (I) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent Authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now therefore, u pon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by sub -section (I) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands
specified in the schedule annexed here to shall be ac quired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annex ed here
to shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
