W/Con/ 247/BG/G/LA/DumariayaGanj -Bansi/Spl.Project ] vHk; dqekj xqIrk , Ekq[; iz'kklfud vf/[email protected] MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Eastern Railway (Construction Organization) ] NOTIFICATION Gorakhpur , the 11th September , 2024 (After Publicat ion, This notification will replace the previous schedule published in e-Gazette notification No. CG-UP-E-02092023 -248482 dt. 29.08.2023 ) S.O. 3892(E).— The Central Government, exercising the powers conferred by clause (7A) of section 2 of the Railways Act , 1989 (24 of 1989), had designated the Sub -Divisional Magistrate, Dumariyaganj as the competent authority for acquisition of land under the Act. Using t he same authority, now Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue)/Siddharthnagar is nominated competent authority in place of Sub -Divisional Magistrate/Dumariaganj. In respect of the Special Railway Project of new Railway line between Khalilabad - Bahraich section in the State specified in column (4) of the Table below, from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, the officer mentioned in column (2) is hereby authorised as the competent authority to discharge the functions as such aut hority under the said Act for the public purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of such Special Railway Project.
