NOTIFICATION
Prayagraj, the 29th April, 2024
S.O. 2214(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of Section 20A of the Railway Act,
1989 (24 of 1989) & Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act,) the
Central Government after being satisfied that for the public purpose the land the brief description of which has been
given in schedule annexed here to, is required for purpose of the Special Railway Project namely," Bhandai-Flyover to
Etawah bound down trains (10km)" in District Agra in the State of Uttar Pradesh hereby declares its intention to
acquire such land, vide Gazette no. O/O 1272A Dated 03 March 2023 was publish on 06.10.2023 in the Gazette of
India extraordinary part-II section-3 (ii).
Any, whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely “Amar
Ujala" and "Danik Jagran" dated 04 January 2024 Under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act.
The objection received under 20A of the farmer affected by the acquisition regarding the land of Agra distict
have heard and resolved by the competent authority/special land acquisition officer.
Any whereas, in pursuance of sub section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its
report to the Central Government.
Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in
the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose.
And further, in pursuance of sub-section(2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed
hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
