NOTIFICATION
Gorakhpur, the 2nd June, 2025
S.O. 2463(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (7A) of section 2 of the Railways Act 1989 (24
of 1989) the Central Government hereby authorizes the officer mentioned in column (2) of the table below as
"Competent Authority" to perform the function as such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of
publication of this notification in the official Gazette in respect of “Chhitauni-Tamkuhi Road New Line Special
Railway" in the districts mentioned in column (3) and in the states mentioned in column(4) of the said table for the
public purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of such Special Railway Project.
