The Ministry of Railways, North Western Railway (Construction), issued a corrigendum, S.O. 371(E), dated 29th January 2024 (F. No. NWR/HQ/S&C/443599200 Vol-VII), exercising powers under sub-section (1) of Section 20A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), to correct Notification-ID CG-RJ-E-01012024-251048 dated 01.01.2024 (published under Government of India No. 03 in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii)). The corrigendum states that the village name given in Column 3 of the Schedule to the earlier notification, in the local-language version of that notification, contained a duplication error and should instead read as a single, non-duplicated village name; the English text does not restate the corrected name itself but directs that the erroneous duplicated entry be replaced accordingly. The corrigendum was signed by Gagan Goyal, Chief Engineer-V (Construction).
