L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-RJ-E-18102024-258047 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4201] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2024/ASVINA 26, 1946 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Western Railway (Engineering Department)] NOTIFICATION Jaipur, the 17th October, 2024 S.O. 4567(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways [North Western Railway (Engineering Department)], number S.O. 3040(E) 30th July 2024 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), and issued under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of the Special Railway Project, namely "Proposed linear connectivity taking off from Biradhwal Railway Station upto M/s Shree Cement Limited, Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (District Sri Ganganagar)" in district Sri Ganganagar of the State of Rajasthan; And whereas, the substance of the said notification has been published in the daily local newspapers, namely, "Dainik Bhasker" and "Rajasthan Patrika" dated 04th August 2024 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, no any objection has been received up to 04.09.2024 and the same have been considered by the Competent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted report to the Central Government; Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
