7604 GI/202 3 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 5008 ] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY , DECEMBER 8, 2023/ AGRAHAYANA 17, 1945 CG-RJ-E-09122023-250545 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Western Railway (CONSTRUCTION ORGANIZATION) ] NOTIFICATION Jaipur , the 21st Novembe r, 2023 S.O. 5 237(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (North Western Railway, Construction organization) Notification number, S.O. 3691(E) dated 21st August, 2023 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub -section (ii) (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) under sub -section(1) of section 20A of the Railways(Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intenti on to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely “Badi Sadri – Nimach New Broad gauge line project ’’in District Chitto rgarh in the State of Rajasthan. And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely newspapers “Dainik Bhasker” dated 26th August, 2023 and in “Rajasthan Patrika” dated 25th August, 2023 under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, no objections has been received by the competent authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto s hall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the sche dule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central government free from all encumbrances.
